I am pretty proud of this. How it turned out and because I’ve learnt a lot during the process (again?). I am also trying so much not to use ‘helpful‘ tools from photoshop, after a long talk with my friend about painting in photoshop (it was more like a monologue, how she still put up with me?), just to paint on my own. Focus on how I see the photos, how I see the fanart, what I wanna see at the end. It was hard! At the beginning I almost dropped everything (AGAIN?!) to hell and was worried I will stop painting. And I actually like it. But then I found pleasure in this challenge. My ambition, yet again, was eating me alive.

I wanted to paint this Joon, but with Linkin Park T-shirt. I still can’t get over the video where JK was jamming to LP. This video is my religion. In the original photo he’s wearing a Metallica T-shirt. I know that was stylist’s doing. But a girl can dream, right?

I also changed his hairstyle to the one from ‘DOPE‘, because ‘DOPE‘ Joon is my ult.

Painted on my old Wacom Bamboo Pen Touch. In the middle I actually bought myself Wacom Cintiq 16 and changed my life with finishing it.

I still don’t know how to background, though.
